Seminar “From Cancun to Durban: Changing the Paradigm?”

In light of the progress achieved during the sixteenth Conference of the Parties (COP 16) in Cancun last year, this two-day seminar, first of a series of events financed by the Climateworks Foundation, contributed to a more complete analysis of what was achieved in Cancun, and what needs to be accomplished at the coming negotiations in Durban.  Thus, a large group of specialists presented their perspectives on what new efforts and actions different sectors- business, civil society, local and national governments- should take to really make significant progress at the multilateral level, to help address the effects of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) emissions.
